In addition to our programs,Mount Carmel Center provides residential and meeting facilities for individual and small group retreats for adults only. These events can be self-directed; led by an outside director; or arrangements can be made with the Friars to lead the retreat.

We offer simple, rustic accommodations in our ‘House of Silence’ dormitory. Overnight we can house approximately 19, depending on gender mix.

Libraries, a lounge, a dining hall and a meeting room (for 40) are available. Our prayer chapel is an inviting, intimate space. Join in daily Mass and Evening Liturgy of the Hours.

Excellent meal service is a hallmark. Coffee, tea and snacks are always available. 45 acres with trails are available for exploring as well.

PLEASE NOTE NEW POLICY EFFECTIVE APRIL 1, 2009:
In an effort to be more efficient and reduce waste, and stress on limited staff, Mount Carmel Center now requires that groups reserving our facility send 50% of their total due at least one week in advance of their event. This includes sending your total number of attendees and your retreat schedule.

Mount Carmel Center reserves the right to cancel your event should this requirement not be met.

Groups arriving on Saturday must arrive no earlier than 9am.

Individual retreatants must arrive during office hours: Monday-Friday between 10am and 4pm.
